1. What Eli stores
Eli stores account information, the messages you send, Eli's replies, and continuity data derived from conversations, such as current goals, relationships, preferences, corrections, and commitments. We may also process limited device, network, and diagnostic data needed to operate and secure the service.
2. How information is used
We use your information to authenticate you, generate responses, preserve conversation continuity, retrieve relevant context, recover from failures, and protect the service. Conversation content is not used for advertising.
3. AI and service providers
Relevant conversation content is sent to the configured AI model provider to generate Eli's responses. Account and application data may also be processed by providers used for authentication, hosting, databases, email, security, and delivery. These providers process data to supply their services to us.
4. Sensitive conversations
Conversations about faith, health, relationships, or personal circumstances can be highly sensitive. Share only what you are comfortable storing and processing through an AI service. Eli is not end-to-end encrypted because the server and configured AI provider must process message text to respond.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We disclose data only to service providers needed to operate Eli, when you direct us to, or when required for security or by law.
6. Data retention
Conversation history and continuity data are retained so Eli can remember prior conversations. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion. Deleted data may remain temporarily in restricted backups before those backups expire.
7. Security
Conversation bodies are encrypted by the application before they are written to the database. We also use encrypted transport, access controls, restricted infrastructure, and other reasonable safeguards. Eli still decrypts relevant text on the server and sends it to the configured AI provider to respond, so this is not end-to-end encryption. No storage or transmission system is completely secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing. You can also correct remembered information directly in conversation.
9. International transfers
If data is transferred across borders, we use recognized safeguards where required by law.
10. Children
This private preview is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the product or other appropriate channels.
